We are absolutely thrilled to release our most important update yet: we have increased our base rate to 40 cents per download!

After analyzing months of data, we decided to redesign our earnings and tracking systems to distribute more of the earnings to legitimate users who drive good traffic while inhibiting users who try to cheat the system and earn money they don’t deserve. With this new system in place and the earnings properly distributed we can now afford to pay the new high rate to help those who drive real traffic make even more cash!

So what exactly are the rates? For the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia you will get AT LEAST 40 cents for every download, as compared to our old 23 cents. The best part is this is only a base rate: the rest of our many offers all pay higher! As always, we have offers that pay 50 cents, 80 cents, a dollar, and higher. As for other countries, we now pay a base rate of 25 cents for any international download. Again, there are some offers for international countries that pay more than the base rate.

Just because we have many offers with many different prices doesn’t mean we just show these offers randomly and leave it up to chance which one the downloader gets. Instead, our system constantly monitors the performance of all our surveys, using metrics both in our database and the advertisers’ databases, and uses this information to determine which offers would work the best for you. Once we know which offers would make you more money we show them more often to people who download your files. Say, for example, that while there is an offer that pays $1.00, you may actually end up earning more money in the long run from an offer that pays 50 cents because users like that survey more. Our system would pick this up and show the offer that pays 50 cents more often to boost your earnings! As we’ll touch on in the next paragraph, if the user does not complete the given survey in a set amount of time we then give them a help message with a list of other surveys that will work best for him. Nothing is left to chance or choice here. Everything is tweaked and supported by statistics and facts to ensure you make the most money possible.

As we previously stated, our new system weeds out fake downloads that our advertisers would have otherwise discarded, which helps us afford to pay the new rates. Normally when any kind of website uses this type of system some users have trouble completing the offer, and in our case downloading the file, because the advertisers don’t like the information the user entered and refuse to accept it as valid. Instead of simply leaving the user stranded in desperation, we wanted to make sure that every user who tries to download a file from ShareCash can download with ease. As many of you know, we talked it over with the community and brainstormed ideas. There were many suggestions, such as timers, email optins, etc. In the end, we decided to make a robust, custom solution that will not only solve any user’s downloading issues but ensure that the system helps all users earn more money. We decided that after a user has not unlocked his download for one full minute, we display a message explaining what happened n provide him with a list of surveys to choose from that will work best for both him and us. If there aren’t enough surveys for the user we show the “Fail-Proof Survey”, which is a survey we ourselves created that unlocks the download every time. The result? There will never be a user who can’t download the file, which means more happy users and therefore more money!

We hope you all enjoy the new higher rates, but remember, this is only one of the first upgrades we’re releasing! Our new team has been hard at work innovating and coding new features and upgrades to not only improve ShareCash but more importantly help you earn more money. After receiving many suggestions for more detailed country statistics, we have created a new section in your Statistics page: the Country Breakdown section! Here you will find an interactive, 3D graph giving you a detailed view of what countries have downloaded your file this month and what percentage they are of your overall downloads. Using this new feature you can get a better view of what countries your current traffic sources are bringing in, which gives you better insight to help tweak your promotional methods to target the more profitable countries, such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Leave any feedback to help us improve this feature on the forums, and remember, this is only a taste of the upgrades and features that are coming soon!

Update: We have completed the server upgrades as of 3:15 AM, so uploading functionality is once again enabled!

At around 2:30 AM EST we began upgrading our upload server to increase upload and download speeds and make the server more reliable. The maintenance should last a maximum of 45 minutes, so until it is finished uploading will be disabled. In the meantime, however, everything else will work perfectly, including earnings!

At around 4:30 PM our database became corrupted, forcing us to restore everything with a backup our system took earlier this morning. The backup was about six hours old, so we were temporarily missing about six hours of new users and earnings information.

Don’t worry, however! Using the resources at hand we were able to recreate an accurate estimate of your earnings before the crash. In fact, the vast majority of you now have more money than you did before the database hiccup, meaning you actually profited! We were not able to recover the premium earnings, but most of you have more money now anyway.

We apologize for this small issue, and we guarantee you that it won’t happen again. We are increasing the frequency of our backups to guarantee that we will never lose hours of earnings, and have taken measures to ensure that we will never experience this type of error again.

Lately there has been an increase in the number of users attempting to cheat our system to illegitimately earn money. We have just improved our cheater detection system, which is now constantly analyzing all uploaders to ensure that they are not attempting to defraud us. We have already banned multiple cheaters today, and will continue to screen all accounts and remove anyone who has been trying to circumvent our system to steal money. If you have not been doing anything against our rules, you are completely fine; we don’t take any action against on an account until we are 100% positive that they were cheating. If you have been trying to take advantage of our system, however, we will catch you and you will be banned.

After successfully fending off a recent attack, our main advertisers are back up and running perfectly. We have now taken down our secondary backup offers and replaced them with our primary set of offers. This means that we once again have advertisements for over 250 unique countries, which should drastically reduce the number of bad downloads you now receive and in effect raise your earnings!

For the past two days you may have seen a temporary spike in bad downloads. This is because we are currently using our backup advertisers, who have many less international offers. While we normally support around 250 countries, with these backup offers we only support about 10, which is why you’re seeing more bad downloads. Keep in mind that having these bad downloads is somewhat of a good thing, too. While other sites don’t let the user download the file if they’re not from the right country, here we let them download either way, which leads to many less complaints and more satisfied downloaders!

We are going to be switching back to our primary advertisers later today, so this issue should be resolved very soon.

Our advertisers have just informed us that they are under another minor attack that is causing their server to lag or crash, so we are taking down our primary set of offers and putting up a set of backup offers from different advertisers. Your earnings should not be affected since we enabled the backup offers just a little while after the attack began, and since these offers will earn you the same exact amount of money as our primary ones. We will update you when the attack has stopped and we can once again bring the primary offers back up.
